Telecommuting jobs are not done from one major office, but instead are performed from multiple home offices, in different locations. Data and documents are transmitted through telephone lines to a central office.
Once you join, you can begin your job search by selecting one of the twelve job categories, and you'll then see a very specific list of jobs complete with title, date added, job description, and contact information.
Its very similar to the info you'd find on monster.com, only with monster, you have to wait on each individual job page to load(with images), so this is more convenient.
Most of these listings are seeking people with experience, so if you're new to the job market, you should try getting some real-world training in something like customer service. There are also things you're going to need for your home office such as:
1. Reliable Computer
2. High speed internet(DSL/Cable)
3. Unlimited Long Distance or VOIP(digital phone service)
4. Fax
5. Printer
6. MS Word
7. MS Excel
8. MS Outlook
One complaint I have about this site is that there is no indication on the member page as to when the jobs were last updated. I also would have perferred, when wanting to contact these companies for a specific job, that there be an e-mail address for an actual person(not just a website to click on).
Support was excellent, they promptly answered any questions I had about their site and informed me that they if a member is unhappy with membership for any reason, they will refund the joining fee without question(that's a lifetime guarantee).
What I love the most about this site is its not a "get-rich-quick" scheme. These are actual jobs you can do from home.
